Hobbies

Most of my hobbies are centered around sports. I am a huge Pittsburgh sports fan, which means I love the Steelers, Penguins, and Pirates. Every year I try to go to a few games in person but you can always count on me watching the big games, even if it’s only at home on my TV. I haven’t missed watching a Steeler game since 2013, and I am very proud of that. Besides watching sports, I enjoy playing them too. I have played intramural flag football, basketball, and ultimate frisbee while in college. I also picked up playing golf this last summer and have enjoyed it a lot. Golfing has been something fun for my friends and me to do on the weekends over the summer. It’s also fun to watch YouTube videos and the PGA tour to learn new things about the sport. Pictured to the left is me holding my putter by a sign for the company I have an internship with. They sponsored a hole at a scramble tournament I played in over the summer.

I also enjoy playing video games. Growing up I was a huge Nintendo fan playing on consoles like the Game Cube, Wii, and DS. My favorite game on all of those consoles is Mario 64. I used to play it all the time, but when I wasn’t playing Mario 64 I was playing Mario Kart DS. My other favorite console growing up was my Xbox 360. Games I played on the Xbox 360 were Minecraft, Call of Duty, and Halo. Today, the game I play the most is NHL or CHEL. I’m really into hockey and in my opinion, it is the best sports game out there.

Other things I do in my free time include traveling and hanging out with friends. Over the last summer, I traveled to Boston and California. While in Boston I went on historic tours, a whale watch, and ate at a lot of nice restaurants. When in California we started in San Francisco, then to Yosemite and Sequoias national parks, continued south to Las Angeles, and spent one day in San Diego. My favorite part of the trip was being in LA, it’s an awesome city with a lot of things to do. Pictured to the left is me on the Golden State Bridge.
